Molly Cosmetics MC Pigments (swatches/review)

Hello everyone!

Since I really enjoyed the liquid lipsticks from Molly Cosmetics (click here if you haven't read about it yet), I decided to buy some of their pigments and accessories as well.

**DISCLAIMER** NOT SPONSORED. I bought these products with my own money. I'm not paid to review their products... it's just my honest opinion.**

Molly Cosmetics Pigments (MC Pigments) come in 12 stunning shades: 6 colorful and 6 neutral shades. These pigments are vegan and safe to use on the face, lips and nails as well. Of course I've got the neutrals just because I'm used to work with such shades.

Same as last time it took more or less 20-22 days to arrive here. The pigments came inside a nice white box with MC logo.

I was pretty nervous about the pigments if they spilled or leaked out but Molly Cosmetics team did an awesome job in packing and sealing them. The pigments arrived intact. 💖

There wasn't any "thank you" note inside so probably they only send it on the first purchase.

Each jar was completely sealed and protected ;) the Italian customs didn't open them.

I got the smallest jar which contains 1.2g of the product but they no longer sell this size

PRICE:
- €6,09 each
- €26,45 for either 6 colorful (Fiona+Annie+Noelle+Molly+Dorothy+Al) or 6 neutrals (Crystal+Meme+Ayu+Scarlett+Fifi+Wiwien)
- €52,83 for all 12 colors

NET WEIGHT: 2.5g

LIFE SPAN: 2 years

PACKAGING:
They come in a small clear jar with a black cap and a "Molly Cosmetics" sticker tag on it. There aren't any details regarding the ingredients of the pigments. At the bottom of the jar, you'll see the shade name and how much product it contains.

When you open the cap, you can see a silver/alluminum foil which further protects the product from spilling out.

As I said earlier, I picked the 6 neutral shades: CRYSTAL, MEME, AYU, SCARLETT, FIFI and WIWIEN

CRYSTAL: Brilliant bright white silver irregular glitter
perfect to use as a inner tearduct highlight

MEME: Brilliant champagne gold irregular glitter

AYU: Brilliant reddish copper irregular glitter

SCARLETT: Brick red (metalic) with gold, maroon, silver flecks
mixed with clear gloss, it creates a beautiful red gloss for the lips

FIFI: Medium gray (metalic) with lavander and pink flecks and a hint of gold and silver shimmer
My current favorite. From the pot it looks like just a gray pigment but once you swatch it, it turns into this gorgeous, sultry, magical color.

WIWIEN: Dark brown (metalic) with lavander, maroon green flecks and a hint of  champagne shimmer
I used this once as eyeliner (mixed with Inglot Duraline) and I really loved it.

I applied Fifi as an overall lid color and to smoke the lower lashline and Wiwien mixed with Inglot Duraline as eyeliner.

I created a double cut crease using Fifi for the mobile lids and Crystal as inner tearduct highlight.

PRO's (Scarlett, Fifi, Wiwien):
  • unique shades (specially for Fifi)
  • great pigmentation even with the tiniest amount
  • blends easily
  • easy to work with (dry or wet)

PRO's (Crystal, Meme, Ayu):
  • great overall glitters for the lids
  • stunning colors
  • best to work with a spritz of any setting spray (I use MAC Fix+)

CON's:
  • can be a little messy when getting the product because the jars don't have sifters (the upgraded packaging doesn't have this issue)
  • fall outs (I suggest you do your eye makeup before the complexion)

FINAL VERDICT:
I'm in love with these pigments specially with Fifi and Wiwien. I haven't really played with the rest of the shades but the first impression is positive. I'll definitely buy the colorful ones.
